Painted Furniture :)

I recently starting painting this really awesome velvet chair at my parents house. Holy shit velvet is hard to do. My dad took pity on me and is now doing it. Its almost done :)

But today I was fed up with this hideous barrel chair we got from Ikea 2 years ago.

Take it from me, do not EVER buy a white piece of furniture....EVER with children around. Ever.

So fast forward to now, I have this amazing chair that I ((cough cough my dad)) painted that I plan on putting in my small living room. So now, I'm trying to get rid of this stained, nasty barrel chair on craigslist. Have you ever tried to give something AWAY on fucking craigslist?

Its damn near impossible to give shit away....I got several emails basically all saying it wasn't even good enough to give away FOR FUCKING FREE? What the hell? So I'm left basically putting a perfectly good chair (just needs a good scrubbing) in the dumpster.

But then, LIGHT BULB! I have a "sitting" space by my kitchen, I should totally put this chair over there....but its still ugly and stained.


Well I have 6 bottles of paint....?

Spent the morning painting and now its drying in my kitchen....thank you PNW rainy day.

But it now looks great.
