Down home kinda girl

Thats me, I'm just a down home country girl at heart.

My whole life I spent a lot of time convincing myself I was a "city girl" at heart. That I didn't belong in the country, that dirt was icky, and farming was to hard of work. Now that I live in the city, with Mr. C and CB and a billion dogs.  When ever we go back down to my parents home, it just takes me back to 4-wheeling, riding on the tractor and getting a little dirty. This weekend, CB and I drove my grandparents tractor while clearing out brush. CB wore overalls and cow boy boots.

My mom and I went shopping monday, and I found some really cute cut offs and a dress thats simply to cute for words. Now I just need some cow boy boots and I'll feel right at home again.

Part of me wishes, so hard, that Mr. C could find a job closer to my parents, we could buy a small farm, and CB and I could drive tractor and he could 4-wheel or do motor cross like my brother.

But thats not reality. Nope. Mr. C will never be able to find a job down in the country, he is in to specialized of a field.

Gotta love the weekends though.
